Get ready for some traffic disruptions starting next week.
The largest paving operation of 2019 in Prince George will begin on May 21 with crews hoping to have the project completed on May 24, weather permitting.
The work will take place on Foothills Boulevard starting at Highland Drive and extend south roughly 1.6 km.
Nearly five lane-kilometres of road will be redone.
Signs were installed on both sides of the work sites last week warning of the disruption (so if you didn't see them, now you know).
Drivers are being asked to look for alternate routes when possible and use caution around road crews.
Other work is currently being done on a section of sidewalk on Eton Avenue in College Heights from Cambridge Road to Simon Fraser Avenue.
The city says that work is expected to be finished later this month.
