When Prince George RCMP attended a reported incident Sept. 16 of a man threatening another male with a knife at Fifth Avenue and Watrous Street, both men had left the area.
But a witness told police the man with the knife had just left on a city bus.
Police stopped the bus a few blocks and searched for a male fitting the description given by the witness.
The members located and detained the man, searching his bag for the knife.
Police were unable to locate a weapon, but did find and seize two baggies of marijuana and a scale.
As the investigation continues police are hoping to speak to the man who was threatened in the incident. Call police at 250-562-3300. File number is 2010-27933.
