Mitch Gillam stopped all 29 shots he faced in the first two periods, but one of the British Columbia Hockey League's hottest lines finally broke him in the final period. Khaira had three assists and De Jersey earned a goal and three helpers.

Ty Swabb picked up the win for the Kings with 18 saves.

Kit Sitterley and Spencer Graboski had the Chiefs goals.

The Kings (16-13-2-3) climbed into fourth place in the Interior Conference, three points behind the Chiefs (19-11-0-2), with the win.

The Kings return to action Friday when they host the Trail Smoke Eaters at the Coliseum at 7 p.m.
