The Prince George Spruce Kings completed the future consideration portion of a pair of trades made during the 2011-12 hockey season.
The British Columbia Hockey League club sent defenceman Cody Bardock to the Victoria Grizzlies as part of the future considerations that brought 20-year-old forward Jarryd Ten Vaanholt to Prince George at January's trade deadline. Bardock, a product of Lethbridge, Alta., heads into his 19-year-old season after an injury-plagued year in Prince George limited him to 35 games where he collected a goal and seven assists.
The Kings also sent Edmonton goalie Ty Swabb to the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Canmore Eagles to complete the trade that brought forward Zack Rassell to Prince George. In 19 regular-season games with the Kings, Schabb posted a 12-6-1 record with a .908 save percentage.
