A sunny spring day sawstudents from Blackburn elementary school picking up litter around the area and Bittner Park on Tuesday.
Twenty-five to 30 students took part in the effort.
"They're out here picking up garbage and being good citizens," said Trevor Pearen, a teacher-on-call.
