The provincial government's approval of the Jumbo Glacier Resort master plan should give supporters of an ongoing effort establish a similar resort near Valemount almost as many reasons to celebrate according to a resort designer involved in both projects.
"I think that in fact it would help the one in Valemount," Oberto Oberti of Vancouver-based Oberti Architecture and Urban Design Inc. said Tuesday, the same day Jumbo Glacier won government backing after 22 years of numerous studies, assessments, consultations and controversy.
