Join the Fight event hosted by Positive Living North on World AIDS day takes place Wednesday, Dec. 1 in front of the Prince George Courthouse beginning at 10 a.m.
There will be an opening prayer and smudge conducted by Elder Violet Bozoki, followed by drumming and singing.
HIV spot testing will start at 11 a.m. with lunch provided at noon at the Fire Pit Drop In Centre.
At the Fire Pit there will also be a Naloxone training session and information booth for those interested.
There is a candlelight vigil from 1 to 2 p.m. including a moment of silence for those lost to the disease.
There will be an Aboriginal counsellor on site for those in need.
There is also boot drive taking place that is looking for donations of clothing, footwear and blankets.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
