Job seekers are invited to print off a fresh batch of resumes next week.

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, the Coast Inn of the North hosts a provincial government-sponsored job fair.

Exhibitors will include employers from a range of sectors, as well as post-secondary institutions, industry associations, and training and health authorities.

"I'm proud of our government's record of job creation, but it's also important that we help British Columbians get these jobs," said Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training Minister Pat Bell. "The Prince George job fair will open doors for local residents and give them the chance to meet prospective employers in the region."

According to the BC Liberals, there will be more than one million job openings in the province over the next 10 years. This number includes more than 350,000 new jobs in the trades, which the government indicates will result in a shortage of skilled labour.
