The September smash and grab at a Pine Centre jewelry store has led to a three-year jail term for Raymond Jarrod Constant Pruden-Collins.
Collins, 21, was sentenced Wednesday in Prince George provincial court on charges of robbery and disguising his face with intent to commit and offence.
Accomplice Dillon Benjamin Ertmoed, 22, pleaded guilty to the same charges earlier this month and will be sentenced once a pre-sentence report has been completed.
The pair were arrested Sept. 19, soon after two masked men were seen entering Michael Hill Jewelers just before 11 a.m., then smashing some display cases and making off with a number of items.
Pruden-Collins was also sentenced Wednesday to four years 10 months for using an illegal or restricted firearm in committing a crime in relation to the Sept. 14 armed robberies of two Subway restaurants.
Alleged partner Raymond Douglas Pennicott, 21, is scheduled to appear at a disposition hearing in late December on charges related to that incident, as well as an alleged Sept. 17 armed robbery of a gas station at Fifth and Tabor and an alleged Sept. 10 assault of a taxi driver, in which police said bear spray was used.
