A theft from a Spruceland Mall jewelry store has led to a 355-day sentence for the culprit.
Alexander Charles Joseph was issued the term Friday in Prince George provincial court for theft over $5,000.
A security camera caught him running off with merchandise from Jewellery Direct on Aug. 13. Joseph was arrested after images from the camera were made public through local media.
Joseph, who has an extensive list of theft-related criminal convictions, was also issued a three-month term for theft under $5,000 from a March 13 incident in Fort St. James.
He must also serve a one-year probation upon release.
