Black Diamond Bowling Lanes on 5th Avenue are re-opening with a free open house for seniors on Tuesday Sept. 27 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

All seniors will receive two complimentary games, complementary shoes and free coffee and tea. Black Diamond Lanes are located at 1241 5th Avenue.

PGCOS hosts a free open house on Friday Sept. 30 between 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to inform visitors on the activities available for seniors. For more information contact www.pgcos.ca or call 250-564-5888.

The All-Nations Elders meets twice a month to work together on projects for the betterment of the community.

The group is open and inclusive to any elder or younger member of the community, aboriginal or non-aboriginal.

On Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., join the group's sharing circle and potluck lunch at the Moose Hall at 663 Douglas Street and discuss an upcoming camp and a booklet in the works called Sharing Our Stories.

Seniors Jeopardy and Seniors Health For Me Bingo happens at the Hart Pioneer Centre on Oct. 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Everyone that attends will get a free lunch afterwards. For more information call Mary Jackson 250-964-8558.

On Oct. 14, The Hart Pioneer Centre hosts a members potluck supper. The dinner is free and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish.

Everyone is invited to the Prince George Council of Seniors' (PGCOS) annual general meeting, on Oct. 25 at 11:30 a.m. in the Keith Gordon Room, of the Bob Harkins (downtown) library. Enjoy door prizes and entertainment.

The PGCOS Senior Peer Support Program is a free and confidential one-on-one service provided by the volunteers of the council.

Referrals to the senior peer support program can be made by a phone call to the PGCOS program co-ordinator at 250-564-5888 ext. 12.
