A review of Initiatives Prince George's operations could begin on Monday, if council approves the terms of reference of the review.
The review has been nearly a year in the making, and would be the first in the organization's 10-year history.
City staff and Initiatives Prince George worked jointly to develop the scope of the review.
Up for review will be the value of the service, Initiative Prince George's mandate, the service delivery model and the financial contributions made by IPG to the city.
Initiatives Prince George currently operates on a budget of $1.545 million, of which $1.02 million comes from the city.
If council approves the review, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP will be contracted to do the work at a cost of $40,000. The consultant's report is to be complete by Aug. 26.
City council will consider the terms of reference at Monday nights' regularly-scheduled meeting.
