Initiatives Prince George is expanding its management team to attract businesses and get their message out.
As of Nov. 5, a business development program manager and a marketing and communication manager position will be filled by Dave Jephcott and Christina Doll respectively.
"These two new positions will play an integral role in fulfilling IPG's mission to facilitate growth and diversification of the Prince George economy," said CEO Heather Oland. "I'm confident the people we have chosen bring the right mix of skills and experience to our team."
Jephcott, who moved to Prince George six months ago, is bringing more than 15 years in sales, marketing and business development to his two-year contract. He will be responsible for implementing several aspects of the the economic development agency's 2012-2014 Trade and Investment Plan.
Doll is leaving her position as news director at Vista Radio (94X and The Wolf) to work with IPG. She is pursuing a diploma in public relations through the University of Victoria and has garnered other related experience by volunteering with organizations, including the Prince George Youth Soccer Association and Two Rivers Gallery.
