The Prince George Cougars have acquired Daulton Siwak and a third-round draft pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for Charles Inglis.

Siwak is an 18-year-old forward from Olds, Alta., who has spent his entire Western Hockey League career in Red Deer, recording 20 goals and 39 points in 161 games. In 18 games this season Siwak has five goals and two assists.

The Cougars deleted Inglis from their active roster Dec. 3 after a game in Kamloops the night before. In 16 games with the Cougars this season, Inglis produced nine goals and 16 points. The 19 year old also served a 10-game suspension in October and was a healthy scratch during a game in November for internal disciplinary reasons.

In 69 games with the Cougars last season, Inglis had 32 goals and 60 points. Inglis began his WHL career in 2007-2008 with the Saskatoon Blades where he played two full seasons before being traded to the Cougars. He's played 222 games in the league, recording 71 goals, 132 points and 339 penalty minutes.

The Cougars and Rebels will face each other twice in 2012, starting with a game in Red Deer on Saturday, Jan. 21 - the final game for the Cougars of a three-game Alberta road trip - while Inglis makes his return to the CN Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 15 in a Rebels uniform.
