A 55-year-old Prince George man has become a suspect in a string of indecent acts.
Police were called to the 700 block of Victoria Street at about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday to find the suspect matching the description they had received of a man masturbating while in a silver car parked in a parking lot.
"When spoken to by the officers, the man admitted to the act," Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass said.
Douglass said police are now trying to determine if he is the same man seen at Cottonwood Island Park near the boat launch on River Road on the evening of Dec. 4, or at the College of New Caledonia on Nov. 21 when two women in different parts of the campus reported a man masturbating while inside a washroom but with the door left open.
The suspect has no previous history with the police and was not arrested. His name was not released.
"The important thing is we've identified this person and if we can, through further investigations, either rule him out or possibly be able to link him [to the other incidents]," Douglass said.
