The launch of a new case management system will mean Ministry of Social Development offices across B.C. will be closed on Friday.
The Employment and Income Assistance office in Prince George at 1445 10th Ave. will be closed Friday. Phone and online services will also be unavailable Friday.
Anyone with urgent needs which can't wait until Monday is asked to call Service B.C. at 1-800-663-7867.
Phase two of the Integrated Case Management system will allow ministry staff to better manage, share and protect case information, according to a report by the province.
Ministry of Children and Family Development offices will continue to be open regular hours on Friday.
