An incident was resolved without problems Monday morning, Prince George RCMP said, after residents in the 5900 block of Highway 97 were evacuated as a precaution.
The move was made as a precaution although police did not believe the public was at risk. Although the incident was not criminal in nature, a firearm was involved, RCMP said.
"Thank you to the local residents and the public for their patience and understanding," RCMP said.
