Arts in the Park will give visitors another reason to check out the Ancient Forest (Chun T'oh Whudujut) on Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The forest is located 113 km east of Prince George off Highway 16.

During the last poll The Citizen asked "What should be done to make the Ancient Forest a better tourist attraction now that it's a provincial park?" The public has spoken and the poll's close vote is looking for more wooden walkways to allow for accessibility while protecting the forest for 26 per cent of the vote for a total of 201 votes, making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site came in with 24 per cent for a total of 184 votes while doing nothing more took 21 per cent for a total of 161 votes. Improving the parking lot and adding more picnic table came in at 20 per cent for a total of 153 votes while build a campground trailed significantly at 9 per cent for a total of 82 votes.

There was a total of 781 votes cast. Remember this is not a scientific poll.

Next poll question is "Should The Citizen report fines levied by WorkSafeBC against area companies for unsafe working conditions and worker injuries?"
