If Alberta doesn't take the wine, ban the B.C. bud, say pollsters

The Citizen poll said "Alberta Premier Rachel Notley announced Tuesday that her province will stop importing B.C. wine as the battle over the TransMountain pipeline continues to escalate," and then asked "how should Premier Horgan respond?"

With 36 per cent and 163 votes readers said "ban B.C. bud exports to Alberta after July 1," while the most tongue-in-cheek option "fine drivers with Alberta plates for driving while Albertan," got 19 per cent and 85 votes.

"Have UNBC, CNC and other B.C. post-secondary schools charge Alberta students the international fee," took 14 per cent with 62 votes, while "charge the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames a tax when they play the Canucks in Vancouver," took 13 per cent and 60 votes, followed closely with 12 per cent and 55 votes "host a Nickelback CD burning party," folllowed by "ban Albertans from attending the Williams Lake Stampede," took seven per cent and 34 votes.

The total votes were 459. Remember this is not a scientific poll.
