Alyssa Tobin, assistant archivist at Exploration Place, puts together the American Mastodon display that is part of The Ice Age Mammals exhibit from the Canadian Museum of Nature that is being installed at the Exploration Place Museum and Science Centre.
The exhibit opens Friday and runs until June.
"This is one of the best exhibits we've brought in," said Tracy Calogheros, CEO. "It's undeniably impressive to stand underneath the 14-foot tall skeleton of an ice age elephant-type creature and imagine what our country must have been like with herds of them on the tundra."
