'I, Claudia' captured the audience's attention by drawing them into the world of a young girl who's struggling to cope with puberty, her parents divorce and popularity problems at school.
Theatre North West opened their season last weekend with a one-woman show, setting a high standard for what theatre patrons can expect to come.
Michelle Polak gave an outstanding performance, bringing to life four different characters to the stage. You never see the actress' face throughout the play, as she dawns a different mask for each Claudia, her grandfather, her future stepmother and her school's janitor.
