Two hunters are safe and sound after spending a long, cold night in a remote area south of the city, according to Prince George RCMP.
The two were due back by 7 p.m. Sunday and police were notified at 1 a.m. Monday that they still had not returned home. But by 8 a.m., family members had found the pair without the need for help from local search and rescue volunteers.
Police had conducted searches of rural roads in the area where they were reported missing in the interim.
