The Prince George RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating after human remains were found in a burnt-out structure at Gravel Pit Lake, just off Highway 16 West near Isle Pierre Road on Saturday afternoon.
No further details were released in a statement issued Monday, but investigators are asking anyone who may have seen a fire in that area about two weeks ago to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
