Huge snowfall delays Citizen, Extra delivery

The sun is shining in Prince George this morning after the huge amount of snow that fell on the city and region in the last 48 hours.

Snow drifts partly cover the Citizen Extra box and the Canada Post mailboxes along Queensway on Thursday morning.

The sun is shining in Prince George this morning after the huge amount of snow that fell on the city and region in the last 48 hours.

As a result, delivery of the Citizen to subscribers and delivery of the Extra and the flyers to neighbourhoods will be delayed in some parts of the city as residents dig themselves out. With snow removal crews clearing the major routes and moving into the residential areas, the newspaper will resume delivery but some residents may not receive their paper or flyers until tomorrow.

We appreciate your patience and please take the time to thank your carrier if you see them. They're doing the best they can.
