Nechako Lakes have co-ordinated a push for signatures on the HST petition.
The BLITZ will take place Saturday, May 15 in Vanderhoof, Ft. St. James, Fraser Lake, Burns Lake, and Houston.
This should help the constituency reach its goal. Nechako Lakes needs 2,350 signatures to make up 15 per cent. This will hopefully be enough to counter bad addresses, which has become a problem.
"The problem with Nechako Lakes is that nobody out of town gets to use their residential addresses much," said Regional Organizer, Mike Summers. "If they bring a drivers license or a hydro bill, hopefully they have a number on it if they don't know it."
"We are putting the meat and potatoes on our plate. We will go for gravy after that. We are sending a message the government needs to listen to," he added.
