There were starts on eight new single-family homes in Prince George in April, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation numbers, lagging behind the 18 seen during the same month last year.
The year-to-date total stands at 24 as a result, compared to 29 by the same point in 2012.
As for multiple-family, there were starts on four units in April, one less than in April 2012 with the year-to-date total also at four, down from nine for the same period last year.
