The victim of a homicide in the Central Fort George neighbourhood late last week is Gordon Stanley Adolph Sr., 42, Prince George RCMP said Thursday.
His body was found in an 800-block Douglas Street home on Friday afternoon and three people, one of them his son, have been charged with second degree murder and indignity to a dead body.
The accused are Gordon Stanley Adolph Jr., 23, Christopher Flanagan, 24, and a male under age 18, whose name cannot be released.
It is the first homicide within city limits in more than nine months after the body of Jordan Christian Reno, 22, was found in a 4100-block Knight Crescent home in the Hart on June 25, 2012.
Reno had recently been acquitted of multiple weapon and assault charges in an alleged attack at Beatton River near Fort St. John in early May 2012 and police believe he was the victim of a targeted attack.
No one has been charged in that case.
