A home invasion involving four suspects - including one who was murdered before trial - has resulted in jail time for another main culprit.
Lawrence Timothy Gross was sentenced to 21 months behind bars in Prince George provincial court on Wednesday on six counts related to a Jan. 4, 2010 of a home in the the 2600 block of Quince Street.
One of Gross's alleged accomplices, Nathan Alcide Marshall was found gunned down in the front yard of a home in the 1800 block of Hemlock Street on Feb. 17 2010, a few days after he had been released on bail.
Anthony Willier has been charged with murder in Marshall's death and a trial by judge and jury is set to begin Tuesday.
Two others were also involved in the home invasion.
Judge Ron Tindale also sentenced Brandy Lee Sinclair to one year probation on Wednesday for willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer in connection with the incident.
In February, Dawn Leanne Steppler was sentence to a day in jail and three years probation on a count of break and enter with intent to commit an offence.
Police said at the time of their arrests that Gross and Marshall, both wearing face masks, forced their way into a home after the home owner opened the door for a female. One held a loaded semi-automatic handgun to the head of the homeowner, but it was not known which one so bother were charged with the same offences.
Gross was convicted of break and enter and commit indictable offence, disguising face with intent to commit an offence, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a firearm contrary to and order, pointing a firearm and uttering threats.
