The distinctive rumble of Harley Davidson motorcycles will be front and centre later this week.
About 350 riders from across Western Canada are expected to converge on Prince George for a regional Harley Owners Group (HOG) rally that runs Friday and Saturday.
It's been dubbed the V-Twin Rivers Rally to reflect the configuration of Harley Davidson engines and the location of the rally at the confluence of the Nechako and Fraser Rivers, Prince George HOG director Glenn Lewis
A meet and greet is set for Thursday evening but the action begins on Friday when drag racing will be held at the Northland Dodge Motorsport Park on Chief Lake Road from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A poker run and an observation run will also be held over that time.
On Saturday, a parade beginning and ending at CN Centre will start at 9:30 a.m. and will be followed by bike games, from noon to 2 p.m. and a show and shine, from 2:30 to 5 p.m., both at the Civic Centre.
On both days, a bike wash and barbecue at the Prince George Harley dealership on Vance Road, just off Highway 16 West, will go from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
