To celebrate National Non-Smoking Week Jan. 16 to 22, the Hockey Yes...Tobacco No! campaign will visit the Prince George Cougars home game Jan. 15 when they face-off with the Chilliwack Bruins.

To celebrate National Non-Smoking Week Jan. 16 to 22, the Hockey Yes...Tobacco No! campaign will visit the Prince George Cougars home game Jan. 15 when they face-off with the Chilliwack Bruins.

Visit the display booth in CN Centre's section L to win great prizes including Cougars hockey cards which can be autographed after the game being sponsored by Scotiabank.

The Canadian Cancer Society, Northern Health and the Prince George Cougars have teamed up for the "Hockey Yes..Tobacco No!" campaign to raise awareness of the benefits of tobacco-free sports and set examples for youth through positive role models like Troy Bourke No. 20 and James Dobrowolski No.18 of the Cougars.

Tobacco use, including snoose and chewing tobacco, hinders performance by young athletes through fatigue, muscle weakness and decreased physical ability.
