Traffic is single-lane alternating on Highway 97 just north of Hixon.
Emergency crews are dealing with a tractor trailer that went off the road in a firery crash. No injuries were reported, North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said.
The stretch, between Colebank Rd East and Woodpecker Rest Area eight kilometres north of Hixon, will remain that way until at least 1 p.m., DriveBC said in a posting issued at about 9:30 a.m
