A lane closure is in effect as paving continues on Highway 97 from the Simon Fraser Bridge to the junction with Highway 16, according to the Ministry of Transportation's DriveBC service.
A crew will be on the scene from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m, Monday to Saturday, until Sept. 4.

Work on a new paving project began Monday along the southbound lane of Highway 97 in the Hart, just south of Austin Road. The crew will be out from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is scheduled to complete the work on Saturday.
Work also began Monday on a construction project along Highway 97, 17 kilometres south of the junction with Highway 16.
The crew will be on site from 7:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. until Sept. 4.
Construction on Highway 16 in Prince George, immediately west of the junction with
Highway 97, remains ongoing Monday to Saturday, from 6:30 am to 3 p.m., until Sept. 5.
All eastbound lanes and one westbound lane will remain open during construction.
Construction on Highway 16 continues 35 kilometres west of Prince George, Monday to Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to Sept. 26.
The road is reduced to single lane alternating traffic only during paving. Both lanes should be open during construction with intermittent lane closures.
Single-lane alternating traffic will remain in effect on 25 kilometres south of Prince George on Highway 97 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday, where construction work will continue through to Aug. 31.
