Highway 97 South remains closed in both directions to traffic after an overnight vehicle incident between Cinema Road North and Dunkley Road, 17 to 20 km south of Hixon, Drive BC says.
There is a detour for non-commercial vehicles via Olson Road, Quesnel Hixon Road, and Plett Road.
Drivers are asked to obey all speed signs and watch for traffic control.
Drive BC says it will provide a further update at 4 p.m.
