Highway 27 to get upgrade

A $1 million contract has been awarded to resurface 2.9 kilometres of Highway 27 in Fort St. James from Stuart River Bridge to Kwah Road. The project is a part of a $14.

A $1 million contract has been awarded to resurface 2.9 kilometres of Highway 27 in Fort St. James from Stuart River Bridge to Kwah Road.

The project is a part of a $14.3 million program for 14 different highway infrastructure projects in the Nechako Lakes region to improve safety for local residents and commercial drivers.

The contract was awarded to Pittman Asphalt and the project is to be completed by the end of this summer.
