UPDATE: Highway 26 has been reopened to traffic.

 

At around 11:30 a.m. this morning, the highway was closed to traffic, about 8.2 km east of the Highway 97 junction, near Quesnel

 

An alert by DriveBC said the closure was due to a vehicle incident.
