Highway 16 West has been fully-reopened west of Terrace.
The stretch from 40 km west of Terrace to the Port Edward turnoff had been closed and then re-opened to single-lane alternating traffic due to avalanche danger and debris on the road earlier this week.
Highway 16 East, from Purden to McBride, is also back to normal after transportation ministry officials advised Monday that drivers stay off the stretch unless absolutely necessary due to limited visibility caused by blowing snow.
