Highway 16 has re-opened to traffic in both directions west of Prince George this evening.
The road was closed westbound for almost four hours after Drive BC reported a vehicle incident at Hartman and Beaverley East Road.
There's no word at this time if anyone was injured.
Officials are reminding all commuters to drive to the conditions of the roads, ensure winter-regulated tires are on your vehicle, and to always take extra time to get to your destination if its a lengthy travel.
We'll have more information on the outcome of this incident when it becomes available.

Highway 16 is closed west of Prince George at Hartman and Beaverley East Road because of a vehicle incident.
Drive BC is reporting the road is closed and assessment in progress and updates are to follow.
