For months now, B.C. has been plagued by a series of mill curtailments and closures throughout the province.

These cutbacks and closures have especially affected smaller towns and communities in the northern and central interior regions.

Mills have been citing lack of log supplies and low prices because of the pine beetle epidemic, the recent wildfires, and plunging prices as the forces behind cutting back shifts and closing mills.

However, the wave of announcements from the industry has been so frequent that it can be hard to keep track of what exactly has closed or curtailed and when.

To help bring some clarity to this series of curtailments and closures, we've created a timeline of the events.
