Inland Concrete's gravel pit on North Nechako Road was transformed into a classroom for three days last week as more than 30 high school students gained first-hand experience operating a wide range of heavy duty machinery.
From cranes to loaders to backhoes, it was all there as they circulated through 16 stations during Heavy Metal Rocks, a partnership between the school district and the Prince George Construction Association now in its fifth year.
