Prior to Greg Matters' death Sept. 10, 2012 death, he had a series of telephone conversations with then-Prince George RCMP Staff Sgt. Brad Anderson.
On Wednesday, an excerpt of one of those exchanges - featuring Anderson's side of the conversation - was played for a coroner's inquest into the death of the ex-soldier in Prince George.
