One Boardshop presents the Hart Highlands Ski Hill fundraiser tonight at the University of Northern BC's Canfor Theatre.
Hart Highlands Winter Club is a non-profit volunteer-run ski hill that started in 1968 and relies on government funding to operate. The funding was recently lost and the organization is trying to raise money to help fund operations for the coming ski season.
During the event at the university there's a snowboard video premier, featuring two of the biggest snowboard videos of the year, Absinth films Eversince and Thirty Two's 2032.
Doors open at 6:30 and movies go from 7 to 9 p.m.
The theatre seats 350 people and organizers are hoping to fill it up. Tickets are $10 at One Boardshop or at the door and there's raffle prizes, too. All proceeds will go to benefit the Hart Highlands Ski Hill.
