Cariboo-Prince George MP Dick Harris believes Colin Kinsley is the right man for the job when it comes to who should be the Conservative party candidate in Prince George-Peace River.
Prefacing his comments by saying all seven in the running are good candidates, Harris said Kinsley, who was the mayor of Prince George for a dozen years, wins out on the basis of experience.
"Colin definitely, in my opinion, has the greatest preparation to do the job and if I was a member of that riding, I'd probably vote for him," Harris said.
Also vying for the position are Prince George city councillor Cameron Stolz, Fort St. John city councillors Dan Davies and Don Irwin, Fort St. John teacher Bob Zimmer, Tumbler Ridge town councilor Jerrilyn Schembri and Taylor entrepreneur Les Shurtliff.
The winner will be declared tonight once the last of the votes from the Prince George selection meeting are counted tomorrow night at the Ramada Downtown.
