Gertrude "Trudy" Kurz, seated with her sons Gary and Gunter, turned 100 years old on March 28. Family and friends attended a birthday party for her at the Enat Complex Care Home where she lives. She lived by herself up to the age of 99. She has two sons, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
