A 20-unit condominium complex is leading the list of more than $11 million worth of building permits issued last month.
The Guest Crescent development is worth more than $2.7 million. The next largest project on the list to be tabled at Monday night's city council meeting is a $1.5 million Hart Highway maintenance shop for Lo-Bar Transport.
Also of note for May-issued building permits is $200,000 worth of improvements to the former Haldi elementary school to facilitate the Northern Women's Recovery Centre.
There were permits issued for nine new single-family homes, totalling more than $2.9 million.
At a total of 48, fewer permits were issued for May 2013 than the same time in 2012, but they were worth almost $2 million more.
