Hadih House is holding a haunted Halloween.
The community development and social services centre in the VLA neighbourhood is opening its doors for an evening family party on Oct. 31. It is already in the planning stages but co-ordinator Amanda Prince said the general public could make it even better.
"We are currently looking for decorations and prizes to be donated for the games we are planning for the kids and the haunted house maze," she said. "We are looking for volunteers to attend and help set up and build."
The event is free for kids (up to 13) and runs that evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"If we can build up a collection, we can use it year after year," Prince said.
