A trial is underway for a man police have said is a "known gang member" following a raid on a 100 block Victoria Street home nearly two years ago.
Ryan John Moore faces 18 charges in all - 15 of them firearms related as well as two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of breach of an undertaking or a recognizance.
At the time of his Nov. 30, 2011 arrest, police issued an extensive list of items that included 2,000 rounds of ammunition, a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, six rifles, a nine-millimetre Berretta handgun with ammunition and two prohibited magazines, four ounces of heroin, one ounce of ketamine, a quantity of cocaine and $700 cash.
The trial before B.C. Supreme Court Justice Ron Tindale began Monday at the Prince George courthouse.
