Growers or greenspace

The Gardening Co-operative in Prince George is seeking to link residents who have gardening space, but can't garden and those wanting to garden, but have no growing place to do it.

Crag Delong, a member of the co-operative, says it's important to try and connect the two types of "frustrated gardeners" in a bid to maximize the amount of food that can be grown locally.

"Hopefully some of that food would end up in the local food banks," Delong said.

He added that produce sharing agreements would be worked out between the two parties that would garden or provide a garden plot.
