Wondering what do your with elementary or kindergarten-aged child when a school district-wide professional development day is held Oct. 22?
The Big Brothers and Big Sisters After School Care program may have the answer.
They'll be hosting a "Grossology Day" tribute to Halloween that will include a field trip to Exploration Place, an afternoon fear factor challenge and gross crafts, like making slime and fake blood.
It's open to all children in K-7, not just those attending the after-school program based out of Quinson elementary school. Cost is $28.75 per child for those not in the program and they must bring their own lunch - a fridge and microwave are available.
