A "board of inquiry" launched by a new charity devoted to the well being and long-term survival of B.C.'s grizzly bear population will be in Prince George on Wednesday evening.
On behalf of the Grizzly Bear Foundation, the board is in the city to gather submissions on the topic from the public at the Ramada. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m.
The goal is to publish a report with recommendations "to ensure the protection and sustainability of these animals." It will be made public and the provincial government will be asked to provide a response.
