Just up the street from the charred remains, a temporary location is set up in the Chee Duck Tong building, on the corner of Second and Quebec. "We're getting there," said owner, Shirley Moore. They're in the process of renovating the temporary location, but are open for business. A grand opening is slated for the first week in June.

Eric said the renovations are "green" and they're using wood wherever possible. They believe rebuilding in the downtown core is good for downtown revitalization.

Shirley and Eric would like to express their gratitude for the support they've received, especially from the firefighters and police the night the store went up in flames.
